Many books in our library are old printed works. We scanned them and converted the scans to text (OCR). This text needs more cleanup. Because of this, a page number may not always match the printed book. We are working to make page numbers more accurate.
A quote can also start or stop at a rough place, such as in the middle of a sentence or after a footnote number. We are working on this too.
Always check an important quote against the full book. Each result has a link to download the full book.
